Honor the darkness . . . Cultivate the light . . . Winter session begins January 14

Hello Yogis and Yoginis,

Winter is a time to honor darkness.  One way to work with this darkness is to join with others on our mats and in our collective silence and presence.  We get the opportunity to slow down and turn inward.

We get to shed that which is not necessary and consider what our “winter selves” feel like.  We get to consider what has been, what we have learned and ask ourselves what is being asked of us now in this present moment…and… are we willing to be true to what is calling?  Regardless of what others may think or say, we are asked to find what is true for us and have the courage to live from that truth.

“I must be willing to give up what I am in order to become what I will be” (Albert Einstein)

Bending Oak Yoga will again open its doors to all of us…to practice, to be Present, to be curious, to be open, to be accepting and to be kind….right here, right now.  The regular winter session will begin the week of January 14th and will be a 9 week session, for a cost of $135.  (Please note for those who were here last session, you will only pay for 8 weeks, $120)  The regular classes will be Tuesday evening (gentle / continuing), Wednesday evening (continuing) and Thursday evening (continuing).  All classes will begin at 6:30.  Registration is required as space will be limited.

In addition, I thought it would be nice to kick off the session with a restorative workshop on Wednesday, January 8th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM for a cost of $30.00.  I can accommodate approximately 13 people for this class.  I hope to offer regular restorative classes which will typically be held on a Sunday from 4pm to 6pm.  Additionally, the Presence Series (taught by me) and a monthly partner yoga class (taught by Rebecca) will be launched sometime in February….details forthcoming.

Please let me know if you are interested in either attending the winter session, the restorative class next Wednesday or both.  I will try to accommodate as best I can.

Peace, joy and love to each and every one of you,

Jane

P.S. Space is limited so please sign up as soon as possible if you are interested.
